# Boosted Markets & Campaigns

A **Boosted** market earns **2× LP** on the same fee. Boosts are how Limelight directs extra attention and rewards toward specific markets — without changing what a trade costs.

## What a Boost Does

* Traders earn **2× LP** per dollar of volume in a Boosted market.
* Creators who seed a Boosted market earn **2× LP** on their seed amount.
* The protocol fee is unchanged — a boost adds rewards, it doesn't add cost.

## How a Market Becomes Boosted

**Auto-boost by seed size.** Seeding a market with **$500 or more** in initial liquidity automatically qualifies it for a boost (after admin review) — so most well-seeded markets earn 2× LP from the start.

**Manual boost.** For a market seeded below the $500 auto-boost threshold, the creator can pay a **$25 manual boost fee** to boost it.

**Team-initiated boosts.** The Limelight team may boost markets for strategic reasons:

* Featured Markets around major events
* Partner-protocol campaigns
* Ecosystem-growth initiatives

A manual boost may also be available on request through the team. Boost campaigns run for a limited time.

Look for the **Boosted** tag on a market listing — it tells you the same trade earns double LP.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://limelight-1.gitbook.io/limelight-docs/knowledge-base/boosted-markets-and-campaigns.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
